On Monday, October 21, we unveiled our new mural with a ribbon-cutting ceremony!
This stunning mural was organized by the Mount Pleasant Art Committee and painted by the talented Charleston-based artists Alli Dunavant and Christine Crawford of Girls Who Paint Murals. Mayor Will Haynie, the artists, and the art committee of Mount Pleasant were here to help us officially debut this tribute to the Lowcountry!
This mural beautifully captures the spirit of the Lowcountry, featuring:
- Heron: A symbol of purity.
- Red-winged Blackbird: Representing strength and resilience.
- Native Charleston Plants: Including the Carolina Jessamine, Magnolias, and Azaleas.
- Magnolias symbolize luck and stability.
- Carolina Jessamine, our state flower, adds a special touch of local pride.
Stop by the Low Country Volkswagen Pre-Owned lot and see it soon!
